VEATITUDO: A photography exhibition dedicated to Kim Taehyung

Hello cuties!! Wow, it's been a long long time since I last blogged...
I've been dealing with a lot and I'm actually considering adding the subject of mental health to my blog but I'm still hesitating because even though I want to keep it personal I feel like it could be way TOO PERSONAL, if you know what  I mean...
Anyways, that's not what this post is about! I'm here to talk about the time earlier this month that I attended a photography exhibition for Kim Tahyung's (BTS V) Velicitas fansite. I never knew such thing existed but I found out because she (Velicitas) mentioned it on Twitter and, well, why not spend 5000KRW to stare at pictures of Taehyung? Ahahaha
This is also my first time talking about anything kpop related here!

So at the entrance I got a stamp on my hand which said "태형이"(tae-hyung-i) and which I couldn't photograph because I accidentally blurred before it dried... (っ- ‸ – ς) and I got a free pocket mirror, a sticker and an A4 poster.

The pictures were displayed as a timeline from 2013 to 2016 in which you can see Taehyung's growth and always his cheerful goofy and innocent smile or moments in which he looks extremely serious and oh so handsome.

This event was also part of V's birthday project so even though his birthday isn't until the 30th there were balloons and a Happy Birthday corner.

For my surprise there was also a table with a cute mail box, pens and a bunch of blank post cards meant for fans attending the event to write a lovely happy birthday card for Tae which would be delivered later.

Finally there was a small booth selling photo cards, polaroids and other goodies all photographed by the lovely Velicitas. I couldn't spend much but I left very satisfied with my polaroid set ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

It was a great experience, the ambience was great, the BTS background music lightened up the mood even more (in an already lit mood as expected from a room where you're surrounded by Tae's happy face ahahah), I loved how people would sing along to random lines and it made me feel so comfortable.

I wish I had been there with a friend to share such a lovely moment...

Trying out AprilSkin's Magic Stone

Hello cuties!! ヽ(´ω｀○)ﾉ.+ﾟ*｡:ﾟ+
I've been seeing AprilSkin's Magic Stone all over my timeline, the hype in Korea has been real so I couldn't wait to try it out myself! 
Before doing a proper review I'm going to try it out for a month so stay alert to this blog post because I will be updating it and adding progress pictures!
This soap is supposed to act not only as a deep cleanser but also as a nourisher and to even out the skin. My skin isn't in a very bad state right now but I do have some ugly spots due to squeezing pimples (that's a NO, I know ㅠㅠ it's stronger than me...).

DAY 1: Here's a raw picture after the very first use.

I took some scary closeups that I will add to this post once this trial month passes! σ(≧ε≦ｏ)

It really does look like a stone, it's so pretty~ and it smells nice~

There's also a black Magic Stone which I decided

not to buy until I was sure I liked the Original one~!

EDIT: I have failed miserably since the antibiotics caused a major breakout and it pretty much ruined my plans for this. Anyways, once I get better I will try out the stone again and give you a proper review since I'm not able to do so right now.

South Korea Traveling: Fall View at Jiri Mountain 지리산

Hello everyone! (＠´∀｀)ノ

Today's travel recommendation is Jirisan~! 

Jirisan is a mountain located in the southern region of South Korea, considered one of the most important mountains in Korea and also home to the largest national park, Jirisan National Park (지리산국립공원)

My dear boyfriend suggested this trip because the fall colours were at their peak of beauty!

 I took too many pictures and I will only post my favorites here but make sure you check out this album for more 〜(￣▽￣〜)

I never thought I would take so many pictures of...leaves.

We spent a wonderful weekend surrounded by nothing but nature and the guest house we stayed in was what I can call now my dream vacation house. If we hadn't gone there for sightseeing and hiking I would definitely stay in the house and relax for hours doing nothing but admiring the view.

The above picture is our guest house. If you include Jirisan in your trip to Korea I REALLY REALLY recommend it. The name is Soso guest house (소소 게스트하우스)

I had never seen such beautiful fall colours in my life and I fell in love with the red trees.

The combination of reds, yellows, greens, browns, the blue sky and even the yellow rice fields were absolutely beautiful. It felt like something out of this world (city girl much?)

We saw many guest houses in the way, private houses as well and I loved how many people grew their own vegetables for themselves or for sale

Straight out of a Disney movie

It was my first time climbing a mountain. The path was relatively easy but I was so out of shape... it took us more than two hours to climb and then about 20min to descend.

I was expecting to take a long rest and have a nice picnic at the peak but there were so many mosquitoes. SO.MANY.FREAKING.MOSQUITOES. so we took pictures and got the heck out of there as fast as we could.

I had never seen such a clear night sky EVER. And I also had never seen so many stars... this was definitely a great experience. Too bad it was so cold, otherwise I could have stared and stared and lost track of time.

On our last day we visited the one thousand year old pine and on our way we enjoyed a long and peaceful walk hearing the sound of the water flowing through the rocks~

I don't recall seeing any non-Korean at the mountain, which tells me people tend to visit the cities and forget that Korea is also rich in nature. If you live in Korea and want to get away from the city stress do consider visiting this magical place, specially on fall.

This trip was short but truly amazing. I got to spend quality time with my boyfriend while getting in touch with nature with all my senses. 

The sound of the leaves moving with the wind, the sound of the wild life, the beautiful colors and landscapes, the fresh air... I hope to see you soon, Jirisan. You have won my heart.

Etude House Haul!

Hello my fellow princesses (and princes, okay :D), I want to share with you one of my favorite makeup stores in South Korea: Etude House.

Before coming here I would get their goodies online or in expensive small importation stores so it sucked TT but I really really like Etude House cosmetics so I would save up a little and get my treats. Here in Korea I couldn't believe how pretty and cute the physical stores are! I had no idea they were like this. They are actual doll houses for people and the staff is so lovely. You feel like a princess from the moment you step inside but you have to get used to the typical worker following you around. No, not to check if you're going to steal anything (apparently there's not such thing here and that's awesome) but to help you get the best products and give you their best guidance.

Of course their job is to sell but they do it very kindly ahaha and like they actually care about you taking the best for yourself. You can try almost everything and find cool discounts plus their products are pretty affordable anyway!

Not only the store is cute on the inside AND the outside but the packages of the Etude House cosmetics are suuuuper cute as well!

This lipstick is called Dear My Blooming and the color is RD302

For eyebrows on fleek I got this super cute pink eyebrow brush~

It was pretty cheap.

Would buy again? - Yes, and I plan on getting the whole set~

This is my best friend, the first time I used it I applied it as if it was lotion. No sponge no nothing and it looked like the real life version of the face smoothing effect in your beauty app ahaha!

Would buy again? - Yes

I will review this separately soon. Probably on winter because right now my skin is too tan for it.

I haven't used it yet because I hadn't used heat in my hair for months.

This smells wonderful. Leave it on for a few minutes and check the results. It's not the best hair product I've ever used but it smells really good~

Would buy again? - No

I use this on a daily basis and it works perfectly. My hair is super dry and I'm always scared of oils and serums because I'm very picky with smells. This one smells good and keeps my hair looking healthy.

Would buy again? - Yes

This is great because it doesn't make me sneeze! But the smell becomes boring after some time and it disappears easily so now I just use it as a relaxing smell when I go to sleep or to perfume my closet~

I highly recommend this store even if it's just to look around and try on things!
