South Korea Traveling: Fall View at Jiri Mountain 지리산

Hello everyone! (＠´∀｀)ノ

Today's travel recommendation is Jirisan~! 

Jirisan is a mountain located in the southern region of South Korea, considered one of the most important mountains in Korea and also home to the largest national park, Jirisan National Park (지리산국립공원)

My dear boyfriend suggested this trip because the fall colours were at their peak of beauty!

 I took too many pictures and I will only post my favorites here but make sure you check out this album for more 〜(￣▽￣〜)

I never thought I would take so many pictures of...leaves.

We spent a wonderful weekend surrounded by nothing but nature and the guest house we stayed in was what I can call now my dream vacation house. If we hadn't gone there for sightseeing and hiking I would definitely stay in the house and relax for hours doing nothing but admiring the view.

The above picture is our guest house. If you include Jirisan in your trip to Korea I REALLY REALLY recommend it. The name is Soso guest house (소소 게스트하우스)

I had never seen such beautiful fall colours in my life and I fell in love with the red trees.

The combination of reds, yellows, greens, browns, the blue sky and even the yellow rice fields were absolutely beautiful. It felt like something out of this world (city girl much?)

We saw many guest houses in the way, private houses as well and I loved how many people grew their own vegetables for themselves or for sale

Straight out of a Disney movie

It was my first time climbing a mountain. The path was relatively easy but I was so out of shape... it took us more than two hours to climb and then about 20min to descend.

I was expecting to take a long rest and have a nice picnic at the peak but there were so many mosquitoes. SO.MANY.FREAKING.MOSQUITOES. so we took pictures and got the heck out of there as fast as we could.

I had never seen such a clear night sky EVER. And I also had never seen so many stars... this was definitely a great experience. Too bad it was so cold, otherwise I could have stared and stared and lost track of time.

On our last day we visited the one thousand year old pine and on our way we enjoyed a long and peaceful walk hearing the sound of the water flowing through the rocks~

I don't recall seeing any non-Korean at the mountain, which tells me people tend to visit the cities and forget that Korea is also rich in nature. If you live in Korea and want to get away from the city stress do consider visiting this magical place, specially on fall.

This trip was short but truly amazing. I got to spend quality time with my boyfriend while getting in touch with nature with all my senses. 

The sound of the leaves moving with the wind, the sound of the wild life, the beautiful colors and landscapes, the fresh air... I hope to see you soon, Jirisan. You have won my heart.

TONYMOLY Panda's Dream

I created a new YouTube channel today for video reviews, fashion, makeup, tutorials, my life in Korea (culture, cool places, etc) and more! Subscribe if you're interested! 

Today I'm going to review two items from TONYMOLY!

The first item is TONYMOLY Panda's Dream White Sleeping Pack. First of all, the package is incredibly cute! Even though I already finished this sleeping pack I'm keeping the package for decoration or for future storage of any other product with a less fortunate package (=ↀωↀ=)✧

About the quality of the content itself I can say I'm 80% satisfied. The cream is very light, fresh and smells good and it has a nice moisturizing effect. In the morning your face will look less scary if you use it, trust me! ლ(=ↀωↀ=)ლ 

Couldn't find all the ingredients but here are some of them:

Paraben, benzophenone, mineral oil, triethanolamine, tar color.

Lavender, rosemary, bamboo sap, bamboo shoot, blueberry, raspberry and blackberry extracts.

The second item is TONYMOLY Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base. The package of this one is also adorable!

TONYMOLY Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base is a brightening cream stick meant to hide and treat your dark circles. I rarely get dark circles so I can't comment on the long term effect of it but after a bad night of sleep this works like magic! Even when I don't get dark circles I can use it as a highlighter and the effect is wonderful. You don't need to use it for its specific original function ( =①ω①=)

This time I can say that I am 100% satisfied! d(=^･ω･^=)b

The only bad thing about it is that it's very fragile and you have to apply it carefully to avoid having sudden pieces from the edges sticking to your face randomly. I guess after a few more uses when the tip is round this will stop happening~~!

TIPS

• Apply from inner to outer corner of the eye.
• Make sure you do an allergy test on any other body part before using this or any other product for the first time since the skin in your face is more vulnerable and sensitive, specially the eye area.
• Moisturize your face first.
• Apply before concealer.

Brightening peptides - Brighten and hydrate the skin

Pearl extract - Luminize and brighten the skin

Bamboo extracts - Hydrate and nourish the skin

Chrysin - Bringhten the look of dark circles

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone, Isopropyl Myristate, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Mica, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Microcrystalline Wax, Sorbitan Olivate, Ceresin, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Lanolin, Titanium Dioxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance, Methicone, Tropolone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Pearl Extract, Water, Bambusa Vulgaris Shoot Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris Sap Extract, Glycerin, Steareth-20, N-Hydroxysuccinimide, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Potassium Sorbate, Chrysin, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7.

I bought both items at the physical store but they are pretty popular products so you can find them everywhere (online). Just make sure you search several sites to compare the prices and get the one that suits your pockets. It's not expensive but it depends on where you buy it. Some people like to make up ridiculous prices >.>
